I love sorbet, and it makes the perfect threat on a hot summer day. Unfortunately the store bought sorbet often contains lots of refined sugar and are quite expensive. This one, on the other hand, only takes minutes to make. And best of all, it requires only one ingredient; Mango. Mango is naturally sweet and its consistency makes the fruit perfect for making a sorbet.
Instant 1-ingredient Mango Sorbet
(No gluten, dairy or added sugar. Vegan)
1 Mango (Ripe)
A blender, ice cream maker, slow-juicer or Yonanas
Method: Blender, Yonanas, Slow Juicer
- Peel and cut the mango into pieces. Freeze in an air tight container or bag.
- Let the frozen mango thaw for a couple of minutes before run it through a blender or Yonanas machine.
Method: Ice cream maker
- Peel and make a mango puré out of it by using a blender.
- Pour over into an ice cream maker and let the machine do the rest of the work.
